Ain't No way is a gorgeous song written for Aretha Frankin by her sister, Carolyn Franklin. If you've never heard the original, buy it on itunes. It's not campy at all, it's amazing, so obviously everyone with a hearty belt has covered it. Below, Whitney Houston and Mary J. Blige take the song, throw it on the floor, and stamp on it till it's a bloody, shitty mess, while wearing matching red leather outfits complete with hair extensions and coke noses. Below that is Patti Labelle showing them how it's done by singing the shit out of it right in Aretha Franklin's face.

Back in Cincinnati there was a place called "The Shadowbox Cabaret." They fancied themselves to be a sexy live version of SNL. Their commercials were the CAMPIEST and when we were offered free tickets we of course went. 

Along with major J ssssing, non-stop nachos, and delicious ice cream, we saw a show similar to the current one playing, smartly titled "CrazySexyCool!" Keep it up, Shadowbox. You guys are RICH.

Side note: We were so fucking high that we had the giggles. Our waitress was IN THE SHOW and she thought we were laughing at her, which we kind of were. You would have too. Trust me.
